Maha’s Holiday Green Bean Casserole

Green bean casserole has always been a family for the holidays, or anytime.  Then my sister Maha decided to make it better.  It is the number one hit for our family’s Thanksgiving dinner.  Best of all it’s so easy to make even a drag queen can cook it, and I guarantee you it is the best green bean casserole you have ever eaten. Maha's Thanksgiving Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Holiday Green Bean Casserole Recipe


2 T butter (to grease pan)
1 package prewashed green beans
1 package cauliflower and broccoli florets
1 package shredded Cheddar and Monterey cheese mix
3 cans Progresso Cream of Mushroom soup (you can substitute Cream of Broccoli or Cream of Celery soup if desired)
1 can French Fried Onions


Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Grease a large Pyrex Baking Dish
Add all ingredients, beans, cauliflower and broccoli, soup and cheese.  Mix until evenly distributed and all vegetables coated.
Bake for 20 min until “bubbly.” Remove from oven and add the canned onion rings.  Return to oven for another 5 to 10 minutes.  Let cool a few minutes and serve.
